Uno Port 13

Established in 2007, UNOPORT13 is a volunteer community made up of 13 executive and professional women working together to promote UNO Port and Tamano City. Led by Sadako Miyake the group includes business women, artists, public employees and a university professor. As a result of the recent influx of visitors to Uno, Naoshima, Benesse House and Chichu Art Museum, UNOPORT13 made this map to introduce foreign visitors to some of the local historic sites and legends of Uno.

Floating a Barrel from Ozuchi Island

A boundary dispute occurred between the Bizen Clan and the Takamatsu Clan in 1732.
Hikokuro, a clever man, hit upon this idea to solve the problem of deciding what land belonged to which Clan.
